If, after reading our pricing and services page, you still aren’t exactly sure what type of restoration work your photo needs, please contact us. We will be happy to assist you. If you have visited our pricing and services page and know exactly what you want done, all you have to do send us your photo(s) and pay online. Once we have received your photo and payment, we will proceed with the work.

No. We digitize your original photograph by scanning it, then we restore the photograph digitally. Your original photo is handled with great care and returned to you in it’s original condition.

Typically, we can have your restored photograph back to you in just a few days, but it depends on the complexity of the restoration. If it is a complicated restoration, it can take longer.

Absolutely! After we have finished working on your photo(s), we will email a proof for you to review and approve. If you are not completely happy with the finished restoration, we will work with you to resolve any issues. If all else fails and you are not completely satisfied with our work, we will refund your money.

No. Some photos are damaged beyond repair and cannot be saved. If there is still an image in the photograph, chances are we can rescue it–or at least improve it. If we cannot restore your photo we will let you know immediately.

Photo restoration is very work intensive and can take a significant amount of time. We cannot spend hours on a photo and hope to be paid for our work. Instead, we offer a money back guarantee if you are not satisfied with your photo.

We provide free return shipping for your original photo. If you send us an original photo to be scanned and restored, we will return it to you via USPS free of charge.

Yes! You can send us your original photographs via U.S. Mail, FedEx, or any other means that you feel comfortable with. Please package your photo(s) appropriately to prevent them from being damaged during mailing. We will return your photo to you in it’s original condition; however, we are not responsible for any photos lost in the mail. Also, if your original photo needs special return packaging and shipping, we will contact you with any additional costs.

We understand your concern and use extreme handling measures when we receive your precious, original photograph. Regarding shipping it to us, if you are not comfortable letting your photo leave your possession, we recommend that you have it scanned, then send us the file.

Yes. Your photo must be removed from the frame before you bring it to us. We will not take your frame apart to retrieve and scan your photo. Old photos can be extremely fragile and we will not risk damaging them via frame removal. If your photo is in a frame but is stuck to the glass due to moisture, etc., you should remove the glass from the frame and bring us the glass with the photo stuck to it. We can scan your photo through the glass.

Photo Doctor accepts meetings by appointment only from 11:00am to 5:00pm, every day except Sunday. If these hours are not agreeable to you, we also have a secure drop box outside for your convenience.

Unfortunately Photo Doctor 911 has no control over handling by USPS, FedDex, UPS or any other shipping service. We take the utmost care in packaging your precious photos for shipping; however, we assume no responsibility if your photos are damaged in transit. Should your prints be damaged in shipping, we we be more than happy to provide you with reprints at your cost.
