We here at Photo Doctor 911 strive to make the process of submitting your photos to us as simple as possible. It is important to us that you understand exactly what our process is and we hope you find the information below helpful.
PLEASE NOTE – Unfortunately we are no longer able to accept customers into our studio. If you are local to Sarasota, we have a photo “drop box” if you need to physically deliver your photos to us. If you are dropping off, mailing, or shipping physical photos to us, we can scan them for you.
STEP I – Contact Us
Using the Contact Us form on our website, please obtain a written quote from us. We will provide you with a firm price.
STEP 2 – Scan Your Photos
If you have a scanner, you can scan your own photos, or take them to Staples, Walmart, etc., for scanning. For the best restoration results, photos must be scanned at high resolution. Please click here for scanning help and information.
STEP 3 – Upload Your Photos
After your photos have been scanned to digital files, you can deliver them to us via upload or a flash drive.
STEP 4 – Payment
After you have uploaded your files and we have looked them over, we will provide you with a firm, written quote for the work via email. Your written quote will also contain a credit card payment link should you decide to proceed with the restoration. Please click here to see our other methods of payment.
STEP 5 – Wait While We Work
After we receive your photos files and payment, we will begin the work. The time to restore your photos depends on their condition and our current workload. Generally, we will have your photos completed in less than a week.
STEP 7 – Approve Your Proofs
When your photos are completed, we will send you a proof sheet via email to review and approve. If you approve of the work, we will finalize your photos for download.
STEP 8 – Download Your Photos
After you have approved your proofs and the photos have been finalized, we will make them available to you for download from our cloud drive. Alternatively, we can copy the photo files to a flash drive that you provide. We can also provide a flash drive for a nominal fee.
STEP 9 – Print Your Photos
After you have obtained your restored photo files, you can take them to any photo printing kiosk at Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, etc. to make your prints, if needed.
